We are very pleased to have been awarded the \u201cTOP-100\u201d innovation award this year!<\/p>\n

Hereby ranking us as one of the TOP 100 most innovative, medium-sized companies in Germany and positioning us in the innovation elite of German SMEs.<\/p>\n

HOW PROFOL STANDS OUT IN THE INNOVATION AWARD<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The TOP-100 innovation award is concerned with the question of whether a company\u2019s innovations are a product of chance or systematically planned and thus repeatable in the future. Special weighting is given to the question of whether and how innovations and product improvements succeed on the market.<\/p>\n

In the past, Profol has continuously proved its ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and has recognized the importance of continuous innovation and its association to the economic success of tomorrow. Our innovation management was rated with an \u201cA\u201d overall by the jury. This rating is awarded to companies that have an exceptionally professional innovation management, even by international standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

BOUT THE TOP-100 AWARD<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Science journalist, author and presenter Ranga Yogeshwar is accompanying the innovation competition as a mentor and points to the role model function of the award winners: \u201cInnovators are thought leaders, but also pioneers,\u201d says Yogeshwar. \u201cThey put their products to the test and question the demands of an ecological society and a climate-friendly world. Moreover, they examine the opportunities and challenges that increasing digitization poses for forms of cooperation, social relationships and thus also for employee retention.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the core of the TOP-100 innovation competition is a scientific selection process that all participants must undergo. The top innovators are determined by independent, scientific benchmarking based on more than 100 innovation indicators in five categories. The first four categories refer to the likelihood of future innovation successes while the last one explores which successes were actually realized through the innovation activity. Ultimately, the actual successes in the economic and technical areas of the company are examined.<\/p>\n

    Companies are examined on behalf of Compamedia, by the organizer of the award and innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team. For 30 years, the award has honored the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany for their outstanding innovations.<\/p>\n

    Profol was rated particularly high in the \u201cinnovation climate\u201d category. We have successfully managed to sustainably transform our business model and repositioned ourselves. We started with the development of PVC-free plastic films for office supplies, today we develop products made of sustainable polypropylene for a wide range of applications.<\/p>\n

    In our understanding, innovation is about actively seeking out customer needs that are still inadequately satisfied and developing new, better solutions for them. The fact that we don\u2019t just proclaim cultural change, but actually live it, is demonstrated by our \u201cJobs to be done\u201d-method, which is all about defining the benefits behind a product. In addition, all employees are explicitly encouraged to contribute new ideas and suggestions as part of a \u201cJust do it\u201d- program. That\u2019s how we generate ideas for the future.<\/p>\n

    We are proud to have scored above average in the TOP-100 award and will continue setting standards through professional innovation management. After all, innovation means always looking ahead and never standing still.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
